90 Day Bible Reading Challenge

I have decided to challenge myself to read the Bible through in 90 days. Would you care to join me? I am sure many will say that they don't have the time.  I am at a place right now where I cannot afford NOT to take the time; I need a special something from the Lord and I believe this is a good place to start.

Maybe you've never read the Bible through.  Maybe you too need a special word from the Lord.  Maybe you'd just like a challenge. Whatever your reason might be, I encourage you to join me.  You can find a printable schedule HERE. (*note, I just realized this is NOT a KJV site.  This will not affect your daily schedule as you are using your own Bible but I wanted you to be aware. There is also an alternate schedule that goes straight through the Bible {vs. a few chapters out of several books a day} HERE. Some may prefer that)

Yes, it is doable!  If you'd like to join in, please add your name to Mr. Linky and comment on occasion. I'd love to know how this challenge is helping you and what the Lord is showing you through it!

  1. Any way you could copy and paste the schedule into a post and link to it? I can't open the file.

  7. I'll join in! I was already planning to start my own on Sep. 7th, after our vacation and school starting back. I had considered doing a challenge like this on my blog, but now you're doing it and I'll just point my readers here when I start.

  10. Hi Karen!
This is just what I need! Thank you for posting the schedule. I have gotten off of Facebook, and this will be a much better way to spend that time.

  11. Absolutely, much better Kellie :) FB is an utter waste of time. I have been trying very much to limit my computer time to the bare minimum. Glad you're joining in!

  12. Whoops, should have linked to you sooner!

About 5 days behind as I type this, but on vacation at home this week so should be able to catch up this week. Have read through the Bible many times, but twice read it through in 9 months. That was SUCH a blessing! Can't wait to see what 90 days will bring. I feel the need to get "grounded" again. That is exactly what this does. :o) Glad to have sisters to share it with. Thanks for posting this!

  14. Lori!

Hello - yes, of course, I know who you are :) How did you find me? I'm always curious.

Thank you for letting me know about the link. I too discovered that a couple of days ago when I went to print out my new schedule. I can't find a suitable 6 month schedule so I'm reusing the 90 day one and dividing each day in half.

I like the way this one is set up as I fear I'd get too bogged down in some books if I were to read straight through. Did you see the second link to where the schedule is actually copied into a blog post?

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  15. Hello again,

I beleive I saw your link on fb somewhere, maybe Meredith's page. :)

I did not see the link as a blog post, but thanks for the info.
I definitely like how this one is set up too, and I agree with you on reading straight through. The 90 day is definitely alot of reading but I'm going for it! :) Then maybe I'll do the 6 month one.
Hope you are all doing well up there! I'm sure we'll be up sometime or another soon enough. :)

  16. Hello!! I just wanted to share that I finished my reading a couple weeks ago!!! It was actually 93 days for me, but that's still not bad! :) :)I was very excited to have read my Bible through in that amount of time. It was a challenge, but I think it was worth it! Thanks for the challenge again!
