I keep trying to come up with some unique way to write this post but nothing witty is coming. So, let me start with a picture:

If you've visited my blog with any degree of frequency, you know that I have a video clip from Facing the Giants on my sidebar.  It chronicles the main character as she and her husband face the trial of infertility.  It's an all too familiar road for me.
I have had the honor of being pregnant twice in my lifetime.  Both times were the result of arduous fertility treatments.  It's been seven and a half years since our twins were born and in that time, we have prayed over and over again for the Lord to bless us once again.

Having said that, you can imagine my utter disbelief when I got not one, but two positive pregnancy tests today!  Praise the Lord!  I am overwhelmed by His goodness!  It's absolutely surreal to know that God divinely intervened in our lives, without the aid of medical science, fertility drugs or doctors. He just allowed us to conceive this child because He can and because He loves us.  What a loving and gracious God.  I am so grateful!

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Psalm 127:3
